Parents & Guardians
Parents and guardians are expected to assist the school authorities to ensure that their wards comply with guidelines for pupil’s behaviour

Duties and responsibilities of Parents

• As a valuable HIBS parent, you have the following responsibilities towards your ward and the school.
• Be well informed of the school policies and academic requirements.
• Encourage and teach your child to obey the rules of the school.
• Ensure your child or ward is appropriately dressed for school.
• Be sure your ward complies with school attendance requirements and any absenteeism from school should be reported.
• Provide a good environment (room, table, chair, etc) for your child to study at home.
• Encourage your child to be receptive to learning and discipline.
• Discuss report cards and assignments with your child.
• Maintain prescribed homework, telephone numbers and other pertinent information for schools records.
